Warhammer 40K: The Arenda Crisis

The Bulwark Wardens, a loyal Dorn-descended chapter defending the Arenda Cluster from Orks, broke from the Imperium in early M41 after a jurisdictional clash with the Basilisk Lords over a rebel-world intervention escalated into open war. The five-year Arenda Crisis — joined by the Spears of Eum and Minotaurs on the loyalist side — ended with the siege of Atoah, killing the chapter master and destroying the fortress-monastery along with most of the chapter.
